1. Atlanta Falcons - Only unbeaten team in the NFL with a high powered offense, playmaking defense, and solid special teams.
2. New York Giants - Eli Manning, Tom Coughlin, Pass Rush, and Cruz/Nicks. Enough said.
3. Houston Texans - What happened against GB?? J.J. Watt is a stud. Great run game. Shaub and Johnson are stars, but the other pass catching options are bums! I don't like their defense without Mario Williams and DeMeco Ryans. Questionable secondary other than Jonathan Joseph at corner. Still a solid team that has just enough to make some noise.
4. San Francisco 49ers - Physical, Mentally tough, smart football team. They will go as far as Alex Smith will take them. If he can manage the team and not turn the ball over they can beat anyone. My NFC Super Bowl pick.
5. Green Bay Packers - (Here comes the controversy, haha) One of if not the best QB in the game. Their defense is opportunistic and getting better slowly, but surely. I think they will be right there contending deep into the playoffs when all is said and done.
Ravens lost Ray Lewis, Lardarius Webb, and Haloti Ngata this week otherwise they would have been in the top 5!
I don't believe in the Bears.
Patriots will get it turned around I believe, but they can't be in the top 5 right now after losing to Seattle and falling to 3-3.
What do you all think? Make your case for a different Top 5!
