Kansas City Chiefs coach Romeo Crennel named Brady Quinn the team's starting quarterback Monday.
Quinn replaces Matt Cassel, and will start for the Chiefs in their Week 8 game against the Oakland Raiders.
"Brady Quinn is the guy I want to go with," Crennel said in a press conference Monday.
It appears Quinn will be given time to grow in to the role, as Crennel noted, "I want (Quinn) to be the starting quarterback without looking over his shoulder."
